KAYAK AND SNORKEL THE MARINE SANCTUARY
$67 Per Person

Upon your arrival at the marina and adventure center, you will meet your guides, receive a comfortable orientation, and become acquainted with your kayak. A safety briefing will add to your ease and then you, your kayak and your group will be off.

Your kayak will be a 2-person, easy-to-paddle sit-upon kayak. Your leisurely glide along the mangroves will capture the attention of your eyes, while your guide will feed you information about what you are seeing. You will be able to explore the many islets while learning of the ecosystem of the lagoon.

It will be difficult to remember that you are technically still in the US as you look for large iguanas, and many birds including egrets, herons, pelicans, frigates, terns, warblers and hummingbirds.

You will find it an easy beach entry to begin your snorkel through an area of a shallow coral fringed mangrove nursery. Looking for eagle rays, turtles, juvenile barracuda, tropical reef fish and colorful and abundant juvenile marine life is all consuming or you may choose to choose to explore the coral beach.
