SAILING AND SNORKELING...FIRST RATE DAY
$113 Per Person  (6 1/2 Hours)

Of course, after you disembark from your ship or leave your hotel, you will make your way to the marina which houses this 65' sailboat. You will be greeted with big smiles, an easy reaction to the sun that glows on St. Thomas. Don't worry because even if you spot a couple of clouds overhead, they are usually whisked away by the gentle winds as you board this large sailboat for your adventure. As you are handed a Mimosa or a Bloody Mary, you will be introduced to the staff and hear a brief history of the boat.

The sails are raised and you will set off for St. John, which is known for its gorgeous beaches. Breakfast pastries appear and you can sit back and nosh your way to this famous spot. It will take a couple of hours of sailing to bring you to your first snorkel, but you won't have to worry about eating too much - your snorkel vest will keep you from sinking!

You will have the option of swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing or shelling the beach. When everyone is ready, you will reboard the sailboat and discover what the crew was doing while you played. This group cooks on board and they will have a beautiful Italian buffet spread out for all. Something for everyone's tastes and plenty of drinks, blended or not, from top shelf liquor. They brag about their "nooners" and you will have to let us know what you think. I couldn't try one - I was working!

Now might be a perfect time for a catnap, as the sails are once again hoisted and you are directed to one of the uninhabited islands surrounded by reefs, often Little St. James. Another exemplary experience in the water will give you the feeling of satisfaction that you have seen the best of the aqua waters of the USVIs.

Even if you closed your eyes for a minute during your last sail, you will find it easy to do it one more time as your sailboat heads back to it's home
