KAYAKING...EXPLORE ISLAND WATER LOOP

On this tour, we use the sit-on-top type
kayaks, which offer exceptional stability and are every easy to use. The
open cockpit design allows even the inexperienced paddler an easy entry
and exit from the kayak.
Tour the largest salt water lagoon in the Antilles. Its rich waters are a
paradise where most marine species come to reproduce and start their
growth before returning to open sea.
After a short lesson in kayaking, you'll be ready to head out from the
lagoon dock for a paddle across the Simpson Bay Lagoon, the largest in the
Caribbean, where you will kayak along the quiet and lush Bellevue
mangroves. Keep an eye open for the rare Blue Herons that nest in this
area!
You'll then stop off at the deserted Explorer Island for a stretch, a
quick dip in the water and a refreshment on the sandy beach. Then you'll
head back to our headquarters, where a well-deserved cold refreshment
awaits.
