Here you find a gentle depiction of a woman
(an amazing similarity to the Virgin Mary) giving birth to an "Upside
Down" God. At the Temple of the Frescos, you see what looks like the
"laying on of hands" on one of the frescos. You will see hands that are
symbolically giving a blessing. The highlight is a three-panel series on
the Three Tiered Temple (“after the manner of Solomon’s Temple”). The
left hand side panel shows an Upright God, (Your LDS guide testifies of
God the Father). The center depicts an Upside Down God, (Again, your
guide suggests the imagery of the Son of God, coming down to earth). The
third panel is blank, (The guide simply says it could represent the Holy
Ghost, because he has no body).
You will have some quiet time to read 3rd Nephi chapters 11 and 17 as
the music and the words narrated by Daniel Rona bring you back to that
momentous occasion. You will be able to visualize the Father announcing
His Son, Jesus, whom He has sent down to minister and teach His gospel.
