HORSEBACK...BEACH AND TRAIL RIDE
$69 Per Person and $52 Per Child

John and Alison started this business in 1996. Most of their horses are thoroughbreds and they offer both English and Western saddles. They prefer small groups of about 10 riders and can handle any level of experience. Mount your trusty steed and get ready for for a wonderful beach and trail ride. The trip begins with a walk past Fort Ashby, built in 1650 and leading to one of many secluded beaches in Nevis. Along the way, you'll pass by Nelson's Spring, a beautiful lagoon where clipper ships once filled up with fresh drinking water.

You'll ride through Calhoun Estate to see the Brahma Cattle and begin to climb the mountain slope of Paradise Estate to the ruins of a sugar mill and magnificent estate homes at Four Seasons.

The ride continues through the bush to the village of Barnes Ghaut and then to the warm and friendly village of Cotton Ground.

You'll return to the beach where we stop to take pictures and observe the local fishermen bring in their catch for the day, ending the ride with a cool walk through a coconut grove.

Complimentary refreshments and snacks await you at the end of the ride.
