Grenada Shore Excursions

SPICEY HALF-DAY TOUR
$267 Chartered For 4 People

Grenada is second only to Indonesia in the production of nutmeg and its byproduct, mace. It is also a major producer of cinnamon, cocoa, and many other spices with their delicious smells wafting through the air.

Enjoy the breathtaking views of the old capital St.George's and the winding route of the scenic west coast as we visit a waterfall, spice plantation and the fishing town of Gouyave. Gouyave is the center of Grenada's fishing industry. It has also been called the city that never sleeps, as most nights there is a party going on with plenty of local music.

Here you will make a visit to the Nutmeg Processing Station in the center of town. The fragrant tour is a fascinating look at this factory which turns out over 3 million pounds of nutmeg each year.

You will continue on a drive through the aromatic spice plantations and you will become an expert on spices!

Deep in the interior of lush, mountainous Grenada is a bird sanctuary and forest reserve with miles of hiking trails, lookouts, and fishing streams called the Grand Etang Forest Reserve The Grand Etang Lake is a 36-acre expanse of cobalt-blue water that fills the crater of an extinct volcano. The Nature Center in the reserve will be the last stop on the return journey.
