GRENADA VENDOR'S MARKET AND MARQUIS FALLS
TOUR
$191 Chartered For 4 People
This
tour will introduce you to a lush and beautiful countryside which, to us,
is reminiscent of that of Europe. Your drive with us will take you through
lush mountains to the colorful Greenville Market on the Atlantic coast.
Greenville is the island's second-largest city and it has retained its
historical identity as a French colonial market town. one of the sights
you will see are the deteriorating Cuban and Soviet planes sitting at the
end of an old runway, abandoned after the 1983 intervention.
This is a town that buzzes with people doing their daily marketing. Be
adventurous, taste and enjoy some of the wide variety of fruits and
vegetables on sale.
See how straw for making hats is prepared when you pass through the
seaside village of Soubise. At Marquis Village an interesting Nature Walk
through the trees takes you to Marquis Falls, one of the highest on the
island. There's time for a refreshing swim before continuing on the return
journey through the eastern parish of St. David's.
