SCUBA...LEARN TO SCUBA...FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS
$104 Per Person

The owner of this dive shop is world famous. In 1997 he sold his original business to one of those giant corporations that we tend to stay away from. Now he's opened up a new shop. It's small and very well staffed. If you like one-on-one service then you'll really appreciate these people.

We know there are many cruise passengers who want to learn to dive while they are in the warm and beautiful waters of the Caribbean. Our great dive shop usually makes a day of learning to dive, including a 2-hour break for lunch. But cruisers don't have that kind of time. So they've put together a "condensed" version just for cruise passengers.

They will introduce you to the wonderful world of diving and teach you the basic skills, first in a 1 hour class and then in a pool. The class room instruction is PADI taught and covers clearing the face mask, clearing the mouth piece, and swimming with a distressed buddy. You'll then be tested underwater on these three items.

You'll then have the opportunity to try out your newly acquired skills when you board the dive boat for a 1-tank guided dive with your instructor at a shallow reef.

You will feel pampered because we limit the number of new divers to 4 per instructor. Most of the time we'll use the smaller boat which, because it is trailerable, will be able to take you to the calmest waters around Grand Cayman.

This small boat holds a maximum of 6 guests, with a maximum of 4 SCUBA divers. Snorklers and tag-alongs are welcome for a small fee.
