Dominica Shore Excursions

TRAFALGAR FALLS AND SULPHUR SPRINGS
$180 For up to 6 People

How nice it is to have the luxury of traveling with 8 to 10 people instead of 40 or 50 as you head out of Roseau Bayfront with a stop at Morne Bruce. Morne Bruce is an ideal vantage point from which to get a panoramic photo of the entire town of Roseau as well as the Botanical Gardens.

Instead of 15 minutes of boarding a huge bus, you'll hop back into a minivan and continue down to the Gardens, which form the eastern boundary of Roseau. The 40-acre spread has a collection of exotic plants representing every part of the tropical world.

You'll head easterly from here, taking a winding mountain road to the village of Trafalgar. The dense, tropical forests with their streams and waterfalls are the main attractions of Dominica. As the motorable road ends, you will find the short walk very easy as you head to the viewing platform. You will be creating one of those memories as you gaze at the twin waterfalls.

After you return to you transport, you find you are heading back down the valley to the village of Wotton Waven. On your arrival, your guide will take you for a fifteen-minute walk along a comfortable mountain path through the rain forest to the Sulphur Springs. You'll see them emanating from the ground in a spectacular bubbling motion spewing volcanic hot water in the air 10 to 15 feet whenever they are active.
