You will be met at the pier at a time specified for your group and escorted to the Cozumel-Playa del Carmen Ferry Pier. The ride across the strait is about 35 minutes and comfortable.

An air-conditioned vehicle of the appropriate size will transport you for the 45-minute ride to this famous ruin. Tulum is breathtaking and once you arrive, you will have an hour guided tour with your English-speaking guide.

Magnificently situated, teetering on a craggy cliff overlooking the Caribbean, the walled ruins of Tulum have become the meeting point between sun worshippers and archeological enthusiasts. Thought to have been settled around 1200 A.D., Tulum was an important trading port and its fortress was still occupied when the Spaniards arrived in 1518. From the cliff-top site, you can see the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. A path winds down to a perfect beach, which allows you to dangle your toes. An English-speaking guide will show you around the ruins of this once-great Mayan city and then give you time to do some exploring on your own. Your total time at Tulum is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. If time allows, you will be taken to a private beach club to relax before being driven back to the ferry pier in Playa. The return ferry leaves Playa at 5pm, getting you back to Cozumel and your cruise ship pier by 6pm.
