JUNGLE HORSEBACK ADVENTURE

Your 50-minute ride is part of this tour, as you travel through Belize City and into the interior. Your observations will show you how similar the Belizeans live as well as how different their lives can be than your own. It is an interesting and informative journey.

The uniqueness of your entry to this marvelous ranch across the river sets the stage for your day. This is a gorgeous property. The warmth and friendliness of the owners and ranch hands fit the scenery and you will feel right at home as they determine your experience level for your ride. Each group of 10 or less has 3 wranglers along for guidance, so you will feel comfortable once again.

For about 90 minutes you'll ride through creeks and under palm canopies. You'll ride uphill and down the beautiful rolling landscape. Everyone will walk and trot with their horse, and if you are experienced, you'll have the opportunity to canter as well.

In addition to the horseback ride, you will enjoy a motor boat ride on the Belize river for about 30 minutes. Be photographed with monkeys, parrots and a jaguar. After that, you will be served a delicious lunch with local food on the menu. Feel free to roam about. You might run into John's wife, a very well-known artist.
